Darica felt sad that Cadell was going, but at the same time, she felt relieved. Without him in the country, she could gather her thoughts and calm down.
Cadell had brought a lot of confusion into her life, and she needed time away from him to really look into herself and see what was happening.
The next day, Cadell sent her to school first before leaving for the airport.
