After having a meal with Cadell, Darica bid farewell to Cadell and promised to keep in touch.
"I don't know when I will see you, but my secretary will call you. He will deal with everything we have agreed on earlier!" before separating, Cadell emphasized.
Darica nodded her head in agreement before waving goodbye to him.
Shortly, the two friends finally went their separate ways.
Darica returned to the apartment, looking forward to seeing Duke. After all, she didn't hear a single word from him that day.
When she arrived at the apartment complex, she took the elevator to the floor where Duke lived.
She didn't need to have anyone open the door for her since she knew the password. After reaching the door, she unlocked the door before entering inside.
"Duke, are you there?" she called as soon as she entered, glancing around in hopes of finding him somewhere, but there was no response.
