"We won't be taking too much of your time today. So, let's get this over with," the dean said as she looked at her kindly, or rather fondly.
That look sent shivers down her spine. She didn't like it at all. However, the other person was the dean, and someone with power, so she could only smile as she waited for her to say whatever she had to say.
"The first thing on the agenda is about the school opening. We will be opening on Monday and I hope that everything will be taken care of by you and the student council."
"Thanks to your hard work and persistence, the school has received the highest number of enrolls than we have gotten in the past few years. And a great number of students will be going to your faculty. So, thank you for the hard work. You have proved yourself well!" the dean ushered compliments, which was very suspicious of her. However, Darica loved getting the praise she deserved.
After all, she worked hard for it, as they said. Didn't she?
