Darica drove to Mirabel's house, where they had agreed to meet during the previous night's chat.
When she arrived, the others weren't there yet, so it was just her and Mirabel.
Darica looked around Mirabel's apartment, the place where she lived with her boyfriend, and sighed enviously.
In every corner she looked, there were signs of Mirabel and her lover. They imprinted the place and, with a glance, anyone could tell that it was a place of two.
That wasn't what Duke's place was like. It still screamed Duke to the fullest. Except for the closet which had some of her clothes, it was like she didn't even exist. She couldn't help but be jealous of Mirabel.
"Any problems you are facing? You don't look so well!" Mirabel asked worriedly as she joined Darica on the couch.
Darica looked at Mirabel, the not-so-gentle girl of the gang. She shook her head before nodding it again, making Mirabel confused by the actions.
