"I don't want to nag but dude, you better think this through. I love you but I don't want to see you falling into a trench because of a woman!"
Duke looked at his friend and smiled wryly, wondering why everyone still seemed to be against his wonderful girlfriend even after everything he had done.
However, he wasn't one to listen to others easily. After how much suffering he went through to be with her, how could he just suspect and doubt the love that was visible to see?
"Eric, trust me, she is a good girl. She must have secrets and so do I. Why should I pry into them?" Duke responded to his friend assumingly, hoping that he wouldn't bring the issue again.
Eric dimmed as he looked at his friend. And seeing that he didn't want to continue talking about it, he didn't continue the topic as well.
Duke sighed with relief seeing that Eric was tactful, so the two friends began to chat about other things as well.
"We are going to miss you, you know?"
