"So, tell me, why did you call me?" after exchanging all necessary pleasantries, Anita asked Darica who was busy sipping some juice with a twisted straw which looked funny in her eyes.
Darica raised her head as the straw slipped from her lips and licked her bottom lip, savoring the tasty juice she couldn't even afford with satisfaction.
"I want to buy some livestock," she answered shortly, straight to the point.
Anita was a bit taken aback when she heard that. She wasn't expecting such a response at all.
Although she knew what Darica had been up to in the past year, she didn't think that her project would require her to keep livestock. So, what was she up to?
"Livestock! What do you need those for? Don't tell me you want to keep them at your village?" Anita asked confusingly as her eyes slightly narrowed, wondering what this nymph of a girl was up to again.
