When dawn broke, Darica opened her eyes and let out a yawn, stretching her muscles as she readied herself for the morning chores.
Once she felt a bit awake, she climbed down the bed and spread the bed before going to the small bathroom, where she washed her face and brushed her teeth before changing into exercising gear.
She took her iPod, headsets, and a bottle of water before leaving her house. She stopped by the toilet to take care of business before walking all the way to the gate, which she unlocked and locked once she was outside, before starting her morning jog.
An hour later, she returned, her body sweaty and looking at the scorching sun that was already blazing and braaiing her despite being six in the morning. She couldn't help but cuss.
Seeing how crazy the sun was like, Darica was half certain that a drought would surely ensue. And she needed to settle everything before any of those big shots heard a grunt.
