The first thing she did as soon as she was walking in the aisles was to pick ten bags of 12.5kg mealie-meal (refined corn powder used to cook pap), a very important staple food for people like her who come from average families.
She added thirty 3kg bags of macaroni, one hundred 500g spaghetti packs, ten boxes of noodles, each having fifty packs inside, and five bags of 10kg samp (crushed maize). That was all for now for starch, carbohydrates and staple food.
She then continued to pick four boxes of cooking oil, each box containing twelve 2L bottles. She didn't forget items such as sugar, salt, spices and any other food items she could think of that could be resold in the future.
She didn't forget to buy detergents and toiletries, drinks, canned beer, boxes of cigarettes and snacks.
It took her several trolleys for her to get everything that she needed at that moment, but the shopping was very entertaining, and she attracted a lot of attention.
