"I have already compiled the list. I will send it to you!" Mirabel said smilingly as she thought of how grateful the kids would be for getting scholarships again this year.
"Um. That's good then," Darica was satisfied with that.
"Last year several students improved. Won't we do something for them?" Mirabel asked anxiously as she thought of the several kids who worked so hard in their studies.
Although they failed to get scholarships, at least getting recognition for their hard work would suffice.
Darica looked at Mirabel and after some thought she responded, "We can reward them. After all, it's not an easy feat to excel that good. What do you think we should reward them with?" returning the ball to Mirabel's court.
Mirabel didn't need to think too much, after all, she had been pondering about this issue the whole holiday. So, the answers were just right there.
