Darica watched as Duke's family all were seated on the garden chairs that had been moved towards the tent so that everyone would have a place to sit.
In each person's hands, there was a tray of food and all eyes were focused on what was on the tray.
Darica shook her head helplessly as she started digging into her food.
For someone who had eaten this kind of meal several times, there was nothing special and fancy about what she was seeing. And it would be a waste of time to do what others were doing.
Besides, the food would get cold and she wanted her food hot, or at least warm. As for what those were thinking, she didn't want to imagine.
When Duke saw Darica start eating, he smiled dotingly at her before he turned to his parents and sister, who seemed to be having issues.
"Mom, you can eat it. It's very good, trust me!" he urged his mother.
Esther turned to look at her mother-in-law and was surprised to see that she was already eating.
