Diana took in a deep breath as she inhaled deeply before exhaling with her all. It was as if she was exhaling all her worries away, though they could never be over.
"Are you really serious about her?" she asked with scrutiny.
With determination showing on his face, Duke answered, "Yes. It has been like that from a year ago."
"And you can't be with another except her?"
"Yes. If it's not her, there is no one else!" he vowed, his eyes maintaining the same determination from the beginning.
"Even if she doesn't love you the way you do, you still want to dedicate your all to her?" Diana asked which greatly troubled her.
The question made her heart ache so much that she felt bad for Duke whenever she thought about it.
"Um, and I will strive to make her fall in love with me and see only me for the rest of her life!"
Upon hearing that, Diana's knotted heart loosened. A smile blossomed on her face, as she felt relieved by his response.
