"Thank you for the compliments. So where are we going? Do you have any place in mind?" he asked, trying to know and understand her plans.
Darica patted the empty space next to her and the young man hurriedly came to her side before sitting down.
"I will be shopping around today here, so nowhere in particular to go. Just accompany me and give me a detailed report on the process," Darica informed him.
The young man's eyes lit up upon hearing that and said happily, "I can deal with that. I also need to buy a few things, so we can kill all birds with one stone."
Upon hearing that, Darica shook her head helplessly again. Just what was he thinking to use that idiom that way?
"Sure, let's do that then, Mike."
Mike grinned sheepishly at Darica without saying anything, and Darica knew that he was up to something again.
Since Mike was already there with her, there was no need for them to keep sitting.
