There was total silence inside the car. With everything Darica had just said, the siblings simply didn't know what to say anymore.
Darica looked at the siblings and felt a headache coming her way.
'This is why I didn't want to date before. Family matters are simply the worst.'
However, there was no way she was going to spend the day stuck on the side road, simply because they had exchanged some words.
In the end, Darica was the one to break the tension as she ordered Duke. "Drop me in the CBD. I think that you two siblings need a real talk!"
When Duke heard that, he looked at Darica with panic written all over his face.
"Babes … this … if I leave you alone, how will you manage?" Duke was mostly worried about that.
He knew that it was her first time in the capital and if he were to leave her to talk to Diana, wouldn't she hold a grudge?
