"What did you do?" Diana asked curiously as she tugged the hem of her dress.
Darica turned to look at Diana with a smile on her face and answered, "I beat them so hard until they could barely be recognized," with a murderous glint in her eyes.
Diana and Duke both shivered upon hearing that.
In the year that Duke had pursued Darica, he had never once heard that she was in a fight with anyone. Though he knew that she wasn't one to be trifled with, to hear from her mouth admitting to beating someone without fearing how his family would think, it was all starting to make sense to him.
No wonder why those people are fearless.
