"Hehe, is that so? You don't have to be. Duke's siblings are yours, too. And since the two of you are the same age, you will become good friends!" Esther said softly as she glared at her daughter with a warning gaze.
Diana shrugged her shoulders at her mother before turning to look at Darica whose eyes looked clear and yet they seemed to be deep and it felt as if she was hiding something from the world.
'She is hiding too many secrets,' she couldn't help but think.
"Then I am relieved," Darica smilingly said as she looked at Diana, who was also looking at her.
"That's good then," Esther was relieved seeing that.
"Anyway, it's time to eat. The food had already been served," Esther announced as she looked at her husband and mother-in-law.
"Umm, we can talk more while we eat!" Jackie said as she tried to stand up.
Damien quickly went to her aid, and soon everyone was on their feet.
