Without making any proper introductions, the three of them headed towards a blue SUV parked on the other side of the airport.
Duke placed the bags into the boot before helping Darica into the car in the backseat.
Duke sat in the front with his friend before the introductions finally started.
"Babes, meet my friend. His name is Eric, and we have been close since I was ten years old. He lives just next door," Duke smilingly introduced his childhood friend to Darica.
When Darica heard how long the two had been friends, she knew that her plans to teach Eric a lesson wouldn't work.
Since they had been friends for nearly eleven years, Darica didn't want to be the devil that came to destroy something that good.
So, she looked at the young man who didn't hide his curiosity about her with a polite smile, since that was the best that she could give, and said warmly, "It's nice meeting you, Eric. I am Darica, your childhood friend's girlfriend."
