In order to spend more quality time together, Darica suggested that they drive to Coalfel instead of taking a bus or a train. As those two would be crowded, Duke also agreed with Darica, so they took his car.
At the moment, Darica didn't have a car since she had been using the school car, which, according to her, was in the process of being changed.
So, until the following year, Darica wouldn't have a personal car. And as long as he was there, he would be chauffeuring her. Or he could just buy her one, but that would need to wait until she was okay with him buying her huge gifts like that.
