The following day, Duke woke up early and went on a jog with Darica. It had become a daily routine for him and he was getting used to it.
No matter what, he wouldn't lose to a woman, even if that woman was his.
He was competitive and the fact that he was doing that with her, Duke, was just happy.
He got to spend time with her, and every single second was precious. After the jog, he went to take a shower at Darica's house when she was busy doing something outside.
After taking a shower, he waited for Darica to finish, too.
When she was done changing, the couple met once again before they bid farewell to the uncles and Beauty, who had settled in nicely with the rest.
"Take care of yourselves out there!" Uncle Travis called out as he watched the two leaving in Duke's car.
Darica chuckled, seeing his uncle waving at them like a child.
"He loves you a lot!" Duke smilingly said as he looked at the smiling Darica.
