Seeing Cery being led away by two strong soldiers, Tungus was left shaken.
Cery was truly a woman gone mad, unruly and frenzied, yet possessed talents that were beyond ordinary people's reach.
It was hard to imagine how she would develop in the future. If she were a bit more like himself, she would quickly surpass decades of his efforts.
However, it was a pity that Cery had chosen a path of isolation, disconnected from society and interpersonal relationships.
Tungus lingering shock gradually subsided along with Cery's diminishing savage screams. He couldn't help but feel the lingering pain in his buttocks, occasionally flashing images of her crazed appearance in his mind.
But he couldn't afford to be tormented by the pain.
Just moments ago, the dismemberment plan devised by the 21 biomedical teams had been completed. After receiving approval from the United Nations in the Pacific Rim, the dismemberment plan was set in motion immediately.
"Everyone, get ready to begin."
Tungus endured the pain in his buttocks and insisted on being at the forefront. He was unwilling to let the leadership responsibilities fall to anyone else.
"Open up the treatment room's ceiling. We need the ultra-high-strength pressure saw for cutting the mecha alloy."
Tungus issued the command, and a large number of soldiers began the task of removing the ceiling of the treatment room. He also ordered the operator to move the mechanical arm of the ultra-high-strength pressure saw into position.
In order to preserve as many extraterrestrial cells as possible, the biomedical team first tested the ultra-high-strength pressure saw.
The extraterrestrial's body strength was already harder than ordinary alloys. They hadn't performed surgery on the body itself, making it impossible to cut open with any needle or scalpel. They needed the large, ultra-high-strength pressure saw used to cut mecha alloy.
With a nuclear reactor linked to the Gipsy Danger as a power boost to increase the rotation speed, the ultra-high-strength pressure saw was started, slicing through the extraterrestrial's body at the joints.
If the ultra-high-strength pressure saw couldn't cut it, they would consider using lasers, ion-cutting energy methods. However, the high-temperature ion-cutting lasers would evaporate a portion of the blood cells, resulting in potentially significant losses, which had been temporarily rejected by the United Nations.
Even so, they had also prepared an ultra-high-pressure waterjet cutting method. However, with this method, the blood cells would mix with water and abrasives, making it difficult to handle, and the distribution of cells would be uneven. Therefore, none of the countries favored using water cutting.
No one believed that the extraterrestrial could not be dismembered. They only regretted that this extraterrestrial treasure would be lost forever.
The Anchorage Base was mainly constructed using a large amount of steel.
Soon, the roof of the treatment room was opened, revealing the domed ceiling filled with steel mechanical arms. These arms were over thirty meters long, resembling massive spiders, each with a sharp circular saw blade at the top, which they extended into the treatment room.
"Prepare the glass containers, we need a large quantity, quickly!"
Tungus exercised his authority, instructing the various biomedical teams to prepare a large number of glass containers for storing the extraterrestrial's blood, with the goal of preserving as much blood as possible.
The entire treatment room was wrapped in the latest technology resin curtains with the highest purity and the narrowest molecular weight distribution to prevent any blood splatter, ensuring that not a single cell would be missed.
The ultra-high-strength pressure saw began its testing, reaching supersonic speeds in an instant. Its teeth whirled through the air, causing a scalp-tingling sensation as if it were cutting through space.
Even the alloy could be easily sliced by the ultra-high-strength pressure saw, and people couldn't help but wonder how stable and fast it would be when used to cut through a normal human body.
Even with the extraterrestrial corpse at hand, no one believed it could remain unscathed beneath the blade.
"Preliminary pressure test, pressure stability confirmed, normal rotation speed."
"Ultra-high-strength pressure saw number one, testing normal, pressure and rotation speed normal."
"Ultra-high-strength pressure saw number two, testing normal, pressure and rotation speed normal."
"Ultra-high-strength pressure saw number three, testing normal, pressure and rotation speed normal."
"Ultra-high-strength pressure saw number four, testing normal, pressure and rotation speed normal."
Staff reported the test results.
Tungus asked, "Has the pressure saw data input been completed?"
"The research subject has been secured."
A staff member directly used iron plates to tighten H'el's limbs and loudly reported. They then began entering the pressure saw's target location data based on the body's position.
"Pressure saw data input completed, adjustments finished!" another staff member reported.
"Very well. Maintain silence. All non-essential personnel, leave the area. Contact the countries for authorization. Everything is ready."
Tungus's face was filled with excitement, and he eagerly instructed.
He knew how to handle the situation well. He had already set up the 21 screens that had been brought out of the meeting room, hanging them high on one of the domed walls and connecting them to the network. The representatives from 21 countries would be able to observe the entire dismemberment process from an elevated perspective.
The entire Anchorage Base fell into silence.
"Permission granted," the representative of the United States, the location's jurisdiction, replied. With the approval from the United Nations in the Pacific Rim, the authorization for dismemberment was granted.
The representatives of the 21 countries on the screens gazed on with calm expressions.
Tungus felt a surge of confidence this time as he stood in the spotlight. Alongside twelve biomedical experts, all clad in full-body protective suits and holding boards wrapped in transparent resins, he entered the treatment room. Thirty-meter-long mechanical arms with circular saw blades were already positioned in front of the extraterrestrial's body, ready to commence dissection.
Five biomedical experts, including Tungus, held the resin-wrapped tablets, which would assist him in this unprecedented and monumental experiment dissecting an extraterrestrial. The remaining seven would collect blood cells.
After a brief exchange of nods with the five experts to confirm their readiness, Tongus spoke in a solemn tone, "Commence dissection!"
"We will start by disassembling the wrist joint, removing his palm as the initial step in this segmented dissection."
"Activate the ultra-high-strength pressure saw."
The ultra-high-strength pressure saw began its menacing rotation, blurring into a circular shape as it moved toward the extraterrestrial's wrist.
The entire Anchorage Base's attention was focused on this moment. Numerous staff members stood on distant steel scaffolding above, appearing tiny like ants as they held their breath and watched this moment with bated breath. The room was unusually quiet, with almost no sound except for the frantic spinning of the ultra-high-strength pressure saw, which marked a historic moment.
The faces on the 21 screens from various countries looked solemn and serious as they watched the first dissection.
"Getting closer!"
"Almost there!"
"Here! Here!"
"Cut in!"
Tungus and the five biomedical experts stared at their tablets, their eyes fixed on the extraterrestrial's wrist. They watched as the circular saw teeth of the ultra-high-strength pressure saw, now appearing as a blurry circle, inched closer and appeared on their tablets. Their hearts raced with tension as they held their breath, unable to look away.
Suddenly.
"Screech...clank, clank, clank..."
The circular saw abruptly stopped at the artery of the wrist. The high-pressure mechanical arm made clanking noises, as if it had been jammed, unable to release the pressure and trembling.
Tungus's heart skipped a beat as he quickly put down the tablet and looked at the wrist. He saw two fingers gently raising, gripping the circular saw.
Tungus was dumbfounded, his neck stiff as he turned to look at the extraterrestrial's face.
The extraterrestrial had deep, black, and unforgiving pupils, staring at him without mercy.
