While Qin Xue and her mother were chatting and laughing, Nangong Beiying woke up, followed by Qing Teng. They each got up to wash up, pack their luggage, getting ready for their journey ahead. All of their belongings needed to be properly packed and stored.
"Xuexue, you're up early. Auntie, good morning." Nangong Beiying came into the kitchen and saw the already made breakfast. Did anyone here even need to sleep?
Nangong Beiying didn't usually have much time to sleep either. The past few days she had been with Xiao Qi, and she didn't have a good rest during the long drive on the second and third day. But after having a satisfying meal at Qin Xue's house and a proper bed to sleep on, she managed to have a good sleep and woke up late this morning.
When we say "late", it's late in comparison to the two people making breakfast. Nangong Beiying did wake up late. But there were reasons for that. She had to rest well in order to have energy for whatever comes next, right?
