The woman was oblivious to the consequences of her act; having put Xue Ling with the others, she left the room.
Only when she was no longer within smelling distance did Xue Ling dare to open her eyes. She was shocked by what she saw. How could there be so many children trapped here? Was that woman planning to sell all these children?
"Hey, wake up." Xue Ling went over to a little boy and gently tapped his face.
"Hmm, who are you?" The boy asked as he felt the gag removed from his mouth and saw the pretty girl in front of him.
"I was brought here. What's happening? Why is everyone tied up?" Xue Ling took note of the nearly twenty people scattered around.
"An auntie and an uncle lured us in here. They didn't want us running off or screaming, so they tied us up." The small boy explained while expressing surprise that Xue Ling was also tricked into coming.
"How long have you guys been here and how have your days been?" Xue Ling inquired further.
