"It's me, Qing, your Grandma Qin." Mrs. Qin had made breakfast early that day because her son and daughter-in-law had to leave early. She had to feed her younger son's pigs and help her elder son's family, so she made and ate breakfast early.
"Grandma Qin, why did you come so early today? It's better to get good sleep. Wait for a moment, I just got up to use the bathroom. I'll dress up and open the door for you," Qing Zhu told the old lady outside the door, meanwhile urging the man to get up and move into the inner room.
Her words infuriated Ye Xuan. What did she mean by 'using the bathroom'? Did she consider him a nuisance or did she actually go to the bathroom? If so, had she washed her hands before covering his mouth?
