"Qin Xue, how are you guys adjusting to life in the Imperial Capital?" Mrs. Qin asked Qin Xue.
"Grandma, we are doing quite well there. I just look after the kids, and Chu Molin goes to classes." Qin Xue replied. She does more than just taking care of the children now, but she didn't need to spell everything out for her family. As long as they knew she was okay, that would be enough.
"That's good. Young kids need good care. I must say, those two little boys are handsome. I haven't seen such bright and lovely children before." Earlier, Mrs. Qin had seen the children sleeping in Nangong Shulan's arms and was struck by their beauty.
"Well, that's because their dad and I are good-looking," Qin Xue replied, preening a bit.
"Oh, here we go, she's praising herself again." Nangong Shulan was puzzled. Why does someone love praising themselves? Even though it was a fact, couldn't they learn to be humble?
