"You've been working hard." Chu Molin understood his wife's words, and he was touched by the fact that she never mentioned wanting him to work less and come home more. They both knew that without a country, there would be no home.
"It's not hard, just sometimes a bit reflective." Qin Xue replied, stepping out of the room with a smile. Molin made the bed and cuddled up under the blanket, so that when Qin Xue came back, it would already be warm.
"Oh, how nice it is to sleep with a warm body by your side." After washing and changing, Qin Xue barely had time to slip on her pajamas before being lured into bed. She initially intended to protest, but the warm temperatures beneath the blanket relaxed her into quiet contentment.
"There are more comfortable things." With a strong tug, Chu Molin made Qin Xue lie flat atop his chest.
