"Xiu, we're back." Qin Xue knocked on the door, calling for Fang Xiu inside.
Because Fang Xiu was at home with Jingtao, they didn't lock the door when they left, but instead had Fang Xiu bolt it. Now that they were back, they naturally knocked.
"What on earth did you buy, aren't you tired of carrying all that?" Qin Xue had people make a small trolley, and she used it to push her groceries whenever she went shopping. So, seeing Qin Xue now carrying so many groceries, she was somewhat surprised.
"Xiaoqiao said she wanted to eat meat, so I bought some. We have guests tomorrow, we couldn't not buy groceries." Qin Xue explained.
"You could have gone in the morning with your trolley. This is such a hassle." Fang Xiu reached out to take the groceries.
"No need, I'll take them in. Do we have any water? Pour Xiaoqiao a cup." Qin Xue didn't let Fang Xiu carry them, asking her to pour water instead.
"Alright." Fang Xiu agreed.
