This reminded Qin Qiu of how she had treated Qin Xue and Qin Yu. Yet, Qin Xue did not abandon them, and even stood up for her and her brother. It was then that she truly understood what it meant to be family, what it meant to be united. Now that she has finally voiced out the words she had kept in her heart, she felt much lighter.
"Don't talk like we are strangers," Qin Xue chuckled at Qin Qiu, whispering softly. She had helped them reluctantly, not wanting to burden their parents.
"Regardless, if it wasn't for your help, our family would not have had this change. I would also like to thank your uncle and auntie." Qin Qiu bowed to Nangong Shulan.
