Roy Thompson opened the door and found his sister standing at the entrance with her hair all poofed up like it had been blasted by an explosion. When she saw him, the hand that was halfway through knocking came to an abrupt halt.
"Nicole, did your head get burned by fire?"
Roy's face darkened to the extreme. Nicole Thompson was usually gentle by nature, almost identical to Julia Harrison. Seeing that frizzy hair at the doorway of their newlywed bedroom was a mystery that left Roy completely baffled.
"Brother, don't you think my punk hairstyle looks nice?" Nicole could tell from her brother's expression that her hairstyle was unappealing without even asking, but she still did.
"It's not that it's unattractive, it's extremely ugly. Even a delinquent girl's hair looks better than yours!"
