Upon hearing Bella Gordon's voice, Roy Thompson also stopped in his tracks, and his first reaction was to shield her behind him, before he slowly lifted his head.
Sure enough, he saw a face that almost looked exactly like Ivy Aretha's, draped in a white floor-length dress with an ancient style, standing not too far away. From the pattern of the clothes and the neatly adorned long hair with a simple hair accessory, it all seemed to not belong to this era, at least suggesting the appearance of someone from fifty years ago.
However, this face did not look like that of a woman in her fifties or sixties at all. She didn't speak, and seemed to have rushed over upon hearing the sound. Upon hearing Bella's call of "mommy," she instinctively wanted to turn around and leave, but she stopped herself.
"Thank you for saving Bianca!"
After several minutes of silence, it was Roy Thompson who spoke first to say thanks.
