Baron Stuart stopped in his tracks upon hearing her, but he didn't plan on turning around.
"Thank you for saving me." Emily Walker said again.
Though she didn't know-how this man had saved her, she was genuinely grateful to him.
"You can stay here tonight." Without ever turning around, Baron Stuart nonchalantly left the room after uttering these words.
After he left, Emily carefully attended to her wounds and bandaged them up before heading to the bathroom for a bath.
Checking the time, it was already 2 AM. She didn't know where this was, but since he had saved her and told her she could stay, there shouldn't be any issues.
After all, she now had no place to live.
