Just after the kiss, Emily Walker's excited little face suddenly became dispirited again.
It wasn't because she was in a bad mood, but...
Her head felt so heavy, so uncomfortable!
"I... I think I caught a cold..." Emily said weakly as she collapsed back into the quilt and touched her own forehead, indeed finding that it seemed to be burning hot.
Hearing this, Baron Stuart's expression darkened, and he reached out to feel her cheeks and forehead.
Damn it, why was it so hot?!
"Idiot!" Unable to bear the sight of her listless state, Baron Stuart cursed before getting up from the edge of the bed and was about to rush out of the room.
Emily, of course, knew what this man was going to do and stopped him once again.
"What are you doing!?" Baron Stuart turned to look at her, somewhat angry.
Lifting her heavy eyelids, Emily weakly said, "There are antipyretic and cold medicine in the drawer of the cabinet. I'll be fine after taking the medicine; you don't need to call Doctor Gavin."
