Emily expected the man to be waiting for her at home, but when she arrived at the private residence, the villa was empty, even Mrs. Noelle was not there.
Taking out her key to open the living room entrance, Emily sat down on the sofa in the empty house, with no intention to go upstairs. She planned to wait for him to return and have a clear conversation.
However, Mrs. Noelle came back from grocery shopping in no time, only to inform her that the young master was not coming tonight.
What did that mean?
If he was not coming, why did he have her come here in the first place!?
"Mrs. Noelle, I have some errands to run, so I better take my leave now." Emily said, and picking up her small backpack, she got up to leave.
