Mrs. Young sighed, her face a picture of helplessness, "Before, I had kindly warned her, admonishing her that even though they were closely related, she was already grown up and shouldn't be too intimate. But do you know how she responded to me?"
Shirley Philip pressed, "How did she respond?"
Mrs. Young scoffed coldly, "She told me that such an outstanding and charming man is worth the admiration of any woman. If she really fell for him, that would be perfectly understandable. Now tell me... is that the kind of response you'd expect from a niece?"
