Shirley Philip suddenly looked up, "What do you mean by that?"
Mrs. Young turned around, "It means just what it says."
Shirley glanced at Anthony Davis, his hand resting on Scarlett Glenn's head, looking at her with affection and tenderness, as if he were looking at his own beloved little daughter.
That warmth, Shirley felt, even a smile from him would make her willing to do anything for him.
Shirley, gritting her teeth, caught up with Mrs. Young, "Tell me clearly, what is going on?"
Mrs. Young stopped in a secluded part of the garden and said, "You have known the Davis Family for many years, you must know a little about what happened that year, right?"
"I know, Grandma Davis's daughter Aya died before her fifth birthday. But now Uncle Miles has found Scarlett Glenn, which means Aya didn't die back then." Shirley knew not too much, just a general idea.
Nobody dares to pry into the affairs of the Davis Family, and no one dares to talk behind their backs either.
