Anthony Davis's definition of Ethan Herd was, "a slick-talking kid, still under observation." He said, "It's getting late, you should head back now."
Ethan Herd wasn't the least bit uncomfortable being shown the door. He replied directly, "Alright, Uncle, I'll come visit again tomorrow."
Scarlett Glenn: "Uncle, let me walk him out."
Seeing that Scarlett Glenn's face was all but begging, "Let me go, let me go," Anthony Davis sighed and decided he couldn't be too restrictive, "Go ahead."
Scarlett Glenn grabbed Ethan Herd's hand and he said, "Grandfather, Uncle, I'll be leaving then. See you tomorrow!"
The Old Man nodded: "Go on home."

As soon as the two of them left, the Old Man hurried to open the gift Ethan Herd had brought: a scroll of calligraphy and paintings by Marve Wilsen. He had been itching to see it for the duration of a meal plus two chess games.
