He had been waiting beyond his limit; the promised two days were almost up. He was preparing to go find Scarlett Glenn no matter how his family tried to stop him. Unexpectedly, she had now run off to Rose City.
"Mrs. Davis is currently hospitalized and her situation doesn't look optimistic. It's probably for this reason."
Upon hearing this, Ethan immediately said, "I was just about to head to the capital, but since she's in Rose City, I'll leave right away."
Dylan Young said, "Alright, we'll talk once you get there."
After hanging up the phone, Ethan grabbed his wallet, mobile phone, and ID card without even taking any luggage, and prepared to leave.
He first went to Mrs. Herd's bedroom and said, "Mum, Scarlett is in Rose City, I need to go find her."
Mrs. Herd was surprised, "Right now? What about your uncle?"
"Tell him once I'm on the airplane. He's been stopping me from going. That's my girlfriend; he may not worry, but how can I rest easy?"
