Just as she finished speaking, Scarlett Glenn, who had been lying motionless, suddenly sat up with a jolt as if resurrected from the dead, clutching her neck and gasping for breath. Her face was pale, and her eyes were filled with terror,
"Scarlett, what's wrong?"
Scarlett Glenn gasped a couple of times and touched her forehead, her hand slick with cold sweat, she muttered, "Still alive... this feeling is really good!"
Scarlett Glenn just had a nightmare. In the dream, she was back Underwater, in the cold and total darkness. The murderer almost blended into the night, following her like a shadow. She couldn't outrun or hide, and in the end, her neck was gripped.
She had thought that her ability to withstand pressure was so strong that she shouldn't have felt much from the incident Underwater.
But unexpectedly, as soon as she closed her eyes and fell asleep, that scene became an inescapable nightmare, clinging to her, refusing to let go no matter what.
