The Herd Family, Scarlett Glenn was on the phone with Dylan Young.
"I'll head back after I sort things out. Be careful when you go out recently, alright?"
Dylan Young's voice from the phone was noisy; he seemed to be outside. Scarlett Glenn nodded, "Mhm, I know!"
"There won't be any moves from the York Family for now. Even if you do run into them, they wouldn't dare do anything to you. Don't worry about them."
"Yeah, I've never worried about them."
On the phone, Dylan Young fell silent for a while before saying, "Your mother's case is far from simple. It may be even more complicated than we thought. Don't worry, I'll definitely get to the bottom of this."
Scarlett Glenn felt her heart tighten. It seemed her previous suspicions were correct; her mother's death was not as simple as a scumbag cheating and abandoning his wife. There might be deeper issues involved.
