Gamma regretted his words bitterly. Curse his foolish bravado, it bought him nothing but trouble.
Even though he knew Scarlett and Dylan were together, he shouldn't have said anything. Now instead of them being the target, it's him.
Dylan's grip was surprisingly strong, his crimson eyes seemed as if they could swallow everything. He said, "Remember what to say and what not to say. If you can't, I'll remind you."
Gamma wanted to shake his head, to say he didn't need to be told, but his jaw was on the verge of being crushed, the pain was so intense he couldn't speak or make a sound.
Dylan let Gamma go, "Gamma, it's okay to be stupid, but at least try to be self-aware. Don't mess up your own life by your stupidity."
