Scarlett Glenn walked along the paved path, her head bowed, the scorching sun causing her exposed skin to hurt as if it would burst.
Her head felt swollen, severe dizziness making her wobble with every step.
Scarlett Glenn pondered on one thing.
Damn it, now that I'm down here, how am I supposed to get back? Do I have to walk all the way on my own two legs?
But waiting here for Dylan Young would also be quite embarrassing.
Dizzy and disoriented, Scarlett Glenn suddenly bumped into something. She shook her head and muttered to herself, "I don't remember there being a tree here?"
As she swayed, she was caught by a pair of strong arms.
Then a cold voice whispered in her ear, "Scarlett Glenn, tell me, do you have no sense in your head?"
Scarlett Glenn hesitated before lifting her gaze, "you...?"
Seeing two heads before her, she felt as if she had drunk a few cups of alcohol. Shaking her head, Scarlett Glenn asked, "How did you get here?"
