Gamma Young is surprised: "You said it would be gone for two days..."
"No need now, Matilda, let's go."
Matilda Jenkins immediately follows him, and the two quickly leave.
Gamma Young looks at Nathaniel York sarcastically: "Nathaniel York, you said you had no interest in Scarlett Glenn. Looks to me like you're deeply rooted in love."

Scarlett Glenn puts on her face mask, goes down to the 1st floor by elevator, and takes the glasses handed to her by Matilda Jenkins. At that second, Gamma Young's second uncle happens to come in from the main entrance, brushing past Scarlett Glenn.
Scarlett Glenn doesn't look sideways and walks away quickly.
Gamma Young's second uncle stops after a few steps.
