Thomas patted Matilda's shoulder, "What's our relationship, you're thanking me now? Back when we were in school, didn't I always bring you food at the Girls Dormitory? You weren't so formal with me back then, why are you being like that now?"
Matilda scratched her head, "Hehe, why am I being so formal with you anyway? I had your back in fights too."
"Exactly, you shouldn't..."
A sudden cough from the bedroom interrupted Thomas's words, startling Matilda so much she nearly fell to her knees. She cursed Nathaniel internally.
Thomas couldn't help but ask, "Milly... do you have... someone in your room?"
Matilda quickly shook her head in denial: "How could that be? You're overthinking. I'm... just playing Gamma Young in there. Probably someone added me as a friend..."
Thomas didn't think much about it. He didn't believe that Matilda would really hide someone...
"Well... you... I won't go in. You better go back quickly. Don't stay up too late after you finish eating."
