Matilda's mouth gaped open: "Ga... Really? You should have said it earlier. I'm leaving right away. I will even roll out of here if necessary..." She was about to run out the door as she spoke.
Nathaniel clenched his fist and gritted his teeth: "Come back."
Matilda stopped: "What's the matter? Did you change your mind again?"
"Clothes, put them on." Nathaniel almost spat the words out through gritted teeth.
Matilda stared blankly for a moment before realizing that she still wasn't dressed. With an embarrassed smile, she said, "Oh, sorry, sorry, I almost forgot. I'll get dressed right away, Mr. Glenn, you're such a good person."
Nathaniel sneered, Mr. Glenn, a good person?
The way she addressed him changed really fast.
Matilda quickly put on her clothes and said, "I'm leaving. Remember to help my goddess."
She stretched out her hand to smooth out the wrinkles she had made on Nathaniel's clothes.
