Mrs. Johnny became more worried and asked, "Didn't Ethan have a girlfriend before?"
Mrs. Herd waved her hand, "Oh, that's not it, Ethan has never admitted it, she's been the one telling everyone she's my son's girlfriend. I was fooled before, but now I'm not that stupid. Scarlett Glenn is my son's true girlfriend, and in the future, if Ethan is to get married, it'll be to her."
Mrs. Herd's words shocked the Johhny couple, and they couldn't believe that Scarlett Glenn was so powerful that their daughter would be so committed to marrying her as their daughter-in-law.
The Johnny couple suddenly felt a bit terrified. They hadn't even gotten married yet, and she already had such control over her "mother-in-law." What if they got married? Wouldn't the Herd Family be completely under her control? Would their daughter still have a place in that family?
The old couple's dislike of Scarlett Glenn grew even more.
