Lily Irving's face swelled up with anger: "But Mummy, it's clearly not my fault. I greeted Aunt Meina enthusiastically, but she ignored me and told me to get lost. I feel so wronged. You said not to apologize if I didn't do anything wrong. I'm not at fault, so I won't apologize."
Ghiovani Herd glared angrily at Mrs. Herd: "Emilia Johnny, you better hurry up and apologize to Lily. As an elder, you should act like one. What's the difference between you and a domineering woman? No wonder you'd fall for someone like Scarlett Glenn, you two are a matched pair..."
Before he could finish, Lily suddenly let out a scream. Everyone looked over and saw Scarlett Glenn holding a mop, still raised high as she hadn't had the time to put it down yet.
Lily turned around, her back aching terribly, and yelled at Scarlett Glenn: "****, what are you doing?"
Scarlett Glenn sneered: "What am I doing? Heh... I'm using a mop to beat the | hell out of you!"
With that, Scarlett Glenn swung at Lily again.
