"Come on, go ahead and slam me down, and stop behaving like a fusspot like you're a woman,"
Nathaniel York frowned.
Seeing his confusion, Matilda Jenkins bent down with her head under his arm, grabbed both his hands and placed them on her body, "I mean, are you a man or not? I'm telling you to slam me down, why won't you do it?"
Nathaniel York's face turned dark. He had encountered all sorts of people, but he had never met anyone like her, who played so unpredictably and forcefully that he found it hard to accept.
Pushed by Matilda Jenkins, Nathaniel York receded backward a few steps and snarled, "Get lost!"
Matilda Jenkins immediately lifted her head and said, "See, you told me to get lost and refused to slam me down. Don't blame me then, I gave you the chance. Your fault for not taking it."
