Ethan Herd knew where Scarlett Glenn wanted to go since he had already received the news of Arnold Glenn's death.
Scarlett Glenn must have been very agitated. What she wanted to see most now was probably Arnold Glenn's corpse since they were all clear he could not have committed suicide.
Mrs. Herd anxiously said, "Scarlett, you haven't eaten anything up till now. Have something to eat before you go."
