Upon arriving at Diamond Residence, Ethan Herd, arms around Scarlett Glenn's waist, pushed open the door to the room where Mrs. Herd was.
As soon as he pushed the door open, all the people inside the room turned their heads to look at them.
Ethan Herd, who initially had a smile on his face, upon seeing the people in the room, his smile disappeared instantly.
Ethan Herd took off his glasses, "Mum, what's all this about?"
Mrs. Herd immediately put on a surprised expression, "Ethan, you've arrived, and... you brought Scarlett too, perfect, I was just thinking about her. Scarlett, come, sit next to me."
Mrs. Herd warmly gestured for Scarlett Glenn to come and sit next to her.
Scarlett Glenn was puzzled. Mrs. Herd had previously insisted that Ethan bring her over, and now she was pretending not to know. What was going on? This meal seemed more complicated than it appeared.
