Scarlett Glenn tried hard to turn the door handle, but it didn't budge. She sighed. What on earth was Ethan Herd planning to do?
Scarlett Glenn rubbed her forehead, now somewhat regretting coming to find Ethan Herd.
Unable to leave, she looked around Ethan's Office Room and saw a photo of him with Mrs. Herd. In the photo, he still had a hint of innocence on his face, while embracing Mrs. Herd's shoulders. Both the mother and son had lovely smiles.
Scarlett placed the photo back down, her emotions now more complicated. How could she not know that Ethan's intention of not letting her know was to protect her?
