Aside from feeling faintly smug in her heart, Scarlett Glenn tasted a nameless emotion. In these times of fickle human hearts, having someone so concerned about your health was... actually quite nice.

Not long after, Thomas came in.
"Sister, just now, Mr. Fred especially called to tell you to rest well and not to rush to the filming set. He will film other people's scenes first, and Mr. Fred repeatedly emphasized that you must rest."
"He is so considerate?" Scarlett Glenn knew Mr. Fred was not a director who cared so much about actors' health, but rather a workaholic.
Thomas scratched his head: "Mr. Herd called him."
Scarlett Glenn smirked, remembering how Ethan Herd had stormed out, wondering what kind of deal he had made with Mr. Fred.
Thomas poured Scarlett Glenn a glass of water and cautiously said, "Sister, actually, Mr. Herd is treating you quite well now."
Scarlett Glenn smiled: "Who'd have thought?"
