The evening wasn't here yet, and Sister Mei was already on pins and needles. She knew full well what Scarlett Glenn was planning to do, and the thought of it made her imagine an oncoming storm of blood and gore.
Sister Mei earnestly instructed Nathan Cole, "Chloe, please take care of Scarlett Glenn tomorrow and bring her back safely."
Nathan Cole didn't know why Sister Mei was so tense. He nodded, "Don't worry, Sister Mei, I'll definitely take good care of Scarlett."
"Make sure you bring her back safe and sound."
Sister Mei emphasized the words "safe and sound" heavily.
Nathan Cole was a bit surprised but nodded, "Yes, I will protect Scarlett."
